Last July, I looked at Ginga Ojou-sama Densetsu Yuna, a decent quirky comedy with a lot of les-yay. Well, there's a sequel OVA. It's by the same people as the first, but was released a year later. The first one was released in late '95. This one released its first episode at the tail end of '96 and the last in May '97. It's three episodes. Did it really need that much time for release? What, did they release each episode as they finished it and then need time to start and finish working on the next? Hopefully, that extra time means that we're going read more

While "Galaxy Fraulein Yuna Returns" is technically a sequel to the first two OVAs, watching that prequel is not at all necessary to watch this. All watching that will give you is a blunt transition in atmosphere from the fully light-hearted prequel to this more down-to-earth sequel, along with showing some fairly uninteresting backstory to some of the characters that doesn't build the characters in any way.

I actually didn't very much enjoy the first OVA for how simplistic and boring of a story it had, but this OVA certainly is an improvement enough to be recommendable. But if you're one who doesn't buy into any read more
