Twin Angel is a parody of the classic mahou shoujo formula and nothing more. Such shows usually make fun of their own stereotypes anyway, so at best you will see this as an ecchier version of Sailor Moon. It is hardly as captivating though since it isn’t trying much to accomplish anything other than a few chuckles or boners out of the audience.
As any veteran viewer already knows, J.C. Staff is a studio that thrives on 2D paedophiles and this is just another one of the dozens of shows that proves it. And as any casual viewer will admit, they rarely pour much thought in the story, or the character development, or even the production values. As such, you get a less than average-looking show, with simplistic character figures, lots of deformity, lots of jerky movements, and lots of stills. In fact the only time it looks nicely is when they make boobs bounce or naked skin to show (transformation sequences included).
In a similar way, the soundtrack is nothing but ridiculous jpop songs you won’t care to remember, while voice acting is full of high-pitched girls you will pay your shrink to help you get over it. This does not apply of course to all the 2D paedophiles who will love the show for being full of sexualized dumb underage girls. One of them is typically a loli tsundere voiced by Rie Kugimiya. She even looks like a cat so it’s double the fan for all the perverts.
Story and characters are barely there. Although you have these magical girls trying to prevent these villains from stealing this special jewellery, and each episode somehow progresses that, since everything is one big random parody of clichés made on the run, you just don’t care about that at all. You will just watch it for the semi-good jokes and the sexualized dumb underage girls; pretty much what you will do for almost any J.C. Staff show. So just for the record, the story barely has any depth / development / originality, and the characters are nothing but superficial rip-offs from Sailor Moon. Some of them have backdrop and development but because of the goofy feeling of the show, all that will go to waste.
Is this anime worth watching if you are not one of THOSE anime fans? No it doesn’t. It is aimless goofball softporn that was done on the run just for quick bucks from THOSE anime fans. There is absolutely nothing to give it credit for; the jokes aren’t that good or that different than those in Sailor Moon, the ecchi is basic, the story is a joke, the characters are cardboards, and I will even throw in how it went almost unnoticed by the anime community because NOBODY cared about it.

Story: 7
Two twin angels (eventually 3) fight evil to prevent the seven amulets from being stolen.
I like the idea. Heroic stuff.
Q.Why a low 7? A.It is pretty obvious that students Haruka, Aoi, and Kurumi are twin angels trying to keep their identity a secret. And these twin angels (students) don't know they are fighting their own homeroom teacher (and vis versa), and their 'crush' in school is handsome MIsty Knight-sama!
just be smart and find out!
Based off a pachinko machine game.
The whole thing is cheesy but who cares about that part
Art: 8
After Shana, Railgun/Index, and kamisama no memochou and others, J.C.STAFF creates another show with great art and animation detail. The quality may not be that great though, because maybe more work was put in kamisama no memochou, airing in the same time season.
They need to change the transformation scenes every time. overused. Maybe make it more similar to Moetan? Kurumi's transformation is like....my least favorite.
Sound: 9
Mamiko Noto's role in Aoi is perfect..calm, mature
Yukari Tamura has her usual cute girl voice in Haruka.
and
Rie Kugimiya.... I think I am going to catch the Kugimiya virus from Kurumi...
OP and ED songs are really cute and catchy.
OP: ave;new project is something! More energetic than Utauyo!Miracle, Hare Hare Yukai, Motteke Se-ra-fuku! combined.
Ever since the full versions were released, i've been looping them all over whenever i have the chance, with the addition of 3 songs from the OVA soundtrack.
Character: 8
Haruka. Cute girl, rushes a lot.
Aoi. Mature and calm with huge breasts
Kurumi. Loli tsundere. I only wish he bangs were a bit longer, with a smaller bell
Every character has different personalities and good/bad parts, like every anime character grouping should.
Enjoyment:8
If only they didn't reuse the transformation scenes and made the twin angel's identity less obvious, it would be scored higher. read more

At first glance both of them seem to be anime for kids but after a few episodes you´ll notice that they are definitely seinen
Hyperactive style, parody comedy, similar music, cheerful and dimwitted girls.

Nijihara Ink's transformations are very similar to the Twin Angel's; clothes are stripped, twirl around, while new clothes are magically "put on" (sorry don't know how to word), and they are both transformed into fighting girls. They both use gadgets (Nijihara ink: cell phone/Twin Angels: pocket bell like thing) to transform.
Nijihara Ink and Minazuki Haruka look very similar, with the same seiyuu Yukari Tamura, same hair style, hair color, etc.
Kuroi Sumi and Kannazuki Aoi also look similar, with hair style (ahoge; but Aoi's ahoge doesnot make gestures) and color.
Both Shoujo battle anime. Aoi and Haruka use the same cheesy attack names over and over (Angel Tornado, Angel Arrow, etc), while Moetan has cheesy character names (Pastel Ink wtf).
They both try to keep their identity as transforming girls a secret to other people around them.
They are both not based off manga or video/pc game
Moetan is based off an English learning software,
Kaitou tenshi is based off a Pachinko Slot Machine series.
