It's one thing to honor your ancestors and keep old traditions alive, but there IS such a thing as taking it to a ridiculous extreme. In Kawakami City, having a samurai ancestor and enormous 'fighting spirit' isn't just an interesting fact, it's a huge part of how you end up being ranked on the social totem pole. That, in turn, rolls over into the school curriculum. Fortunately, that's something the local kids like Yamato Naoe have learned to deal with by forming into small 'bands,' (that's the samurai type, NOT music). However, while the delicate sexual balance of Yamato's group seemed fine when there were three girls and four boys, the sudden addition of two MORE girls starts to send everything spinning out of control!

I watched MajiKoi because it was an alternate story from KimiAru and i wanted more from that and i can say this is very good i enjoyed this as much as KimiAru and i enjoyed both for the same but a little more this from the action and the comedy.

The story is very good and you will relate this with our world in a lot of ways and i really liked the message that brings and for the other part is about a high school who has fights between the classes, every class is targeted to be different, one class for the strategist, other for read more

[contains some mild spoilers, some suggestive language, and some comparison to the visual novel]

What a slaughter.

Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai (TV) is one of the two visual novels that was adapted this fall season. In comparison to Mashiro-iro, which was a decent adaptation, MajiKoi’s adaptation was pure shit. In Mashiro’s review, I stated that Mashiro was considered an “average visual novel”, which made the mediocre storyline understandable. But, MajiKoi doesn’t have the luxury of using the excuse “the visual novel was bad”, it was considered a great visual novel (8.71@VNDB). In other words, it was a great source with great potential.

Now, why exactly does the read more

First of all, my purpose writing this review for this anime is to clarify any negative comments about this anime, since so many review saying this anime is horrible because the anime itself didnt really like the VN. really? just for that reason? Honestly, why do people comparing the VN with the anime itself? we're talking about the anime in here not VN. oh god...

When i finished this series i was kinda surprised, because the score in MAL itself didnt represent how good this anime was, i dont say this anime was the best but its quite entertaining, that 6.99 is just so UNDERRATED. remember read more

Maji de Watasi ni Koi is an anime adapted from an adult visual novel. A good anime adaptation from a VN requires plenty of creativity and originality, and this is clearly not evident. The result of this is what you would expect- a very loose plot with no lack of holes and a plenteous supply of fanservice to fill these gaps.

The series sets itself in a town where people honour their ancestors by keeping old traditions alive. One of traditions often practiced in schools are mock warfare in the style of the Edo Period. This is the content of the first episode, where the typical read more

The best is Class S (Maji de) and Class A (Baka).

Both of these Anime deal with school settings and Samurai lenages. Both also aired during the same time frame.

Anime: Senran Kagura
Both anime are school of martial arts oriented ecchi series filled with strong battle ready maidens. While Majikoi has more male characters than Senran Kagura the humor is similar. If you like ecchi and are a fan of one of the series, you may very well enjoy the other.
