SHUFFLE is alright.....its one of those typical harem animes....that is.....until.....THE END!!! They throw some shocking shit at you towards the end and it has a great ending (oL<)b
Yea I agree....but for AIR I understood the first time I watched it :P ~ and 5cm I just flat out hated the ending....its a completely biased opinion though because I understand why it ended the way it did, I just don't approve...lol I'm more of a "happy ending" kind of guy

hmmm I have to disagree with you on that one....I was quite moved by the kissing scene in the snow....I just basically didn't like the "real-life" ending....it reminds me of how it is in real life~ I mean its an anime right, "happily ever after" is in the resume or at least some middle round....I mean they didn't even see each other because of the f***ing train O.o
Place promised is much more moving and dramatic.....even though the ending is still a little real its not as bad as 5cm per second (don't worry you won't get any spoilers from me)

How could you hate such a cutesy song! I've been listening to it all day & added it to Youtube favs. It makes me happeee~ :p
Of cuz I've heard Nirvana & Foo Fighters but they're no bands I listen to on a daily basis, if you know what I mean. I guess I don't listen to much grunge metal then but I get the idea of what it sounds like. ^^
I believe hnz introduced me to Be'lakor with their latest album, since then I've just been listening to them quite a lot and become very fond of them.
Dark Tranquillity are great, both old and new shit, but yeah that album is baller!
I'd recommend the Blackwater Park and Ghost Reveries albums from Opeth. They're the best imo.
Some black metal is pure shit, some is really good.. Sigh's Imaginary Sonicscape just sounds like nothing else and that's why I like it so much. :>

To be fair, In Flames was one of the best band I've ever heard. Although I'm not a big fan of their recent albums but more into their older stuff like Whoracle/The Jester Race, they're still a great band. Insomniums latest album is pretty awesome, in my opinion.^^
Both In Flames and Insomnium are on my favourite metal list along with Dark Tranquillity, Be'Lakor, Opeth and Sigh. I don't see the others on your lastFM list though so I'll link you a song from each of them in case you'd like to check them out. Maybe you'll like!^^;

Sigh is freaking weird black metal though, I'd be surprised if you actually liked them because most people I've given them to don't like it. They say it's too different or whatever. >_>;

The Clannad soundtrack is pretty and relaxing, from what I've experienced.^^ I really like the ending song, Dango Daikazoku :D
An anime without a good soundtrack is not an anime yo. You just can't really get into the feeling when you don't have proper sound.. :
